out of the blue came the grey

Unexpected weather delivered on high winds

Thunder, lightning, torrential rain.

Gardening boots lie still

Unworn

Forlorn

Weeds will be doing a happy dance!

  3. Gardening will be there after the rains, but Pheromone Girl is right, you don't always have puddles to stomp in. Thanks for playing along with the Sunday 160.

  5. Less time for gardening means more time for writing. Also, this reminded me of the Red Wheelbarrow by William Carlos Williams. I hope you take that as high praise.

  6. It rained here all day yesterday, but I woke to a winter wonderland again today. I have dreams of life renewing again in my garden some time soon though. Sweet dreams, dreams, dreams...

Good luck with your weeds when the rain clears.

  9. Between the rains and winds lately, you don't need boots -- you need a body suit!
