"Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom." - Marcel Proust
“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best."- Marilyn Monroe
This is always where I clam up. Not just here but out there in the real world; or is this part of the real world now? I sometimes feel that one's friends should be asked to fill in these gaps but that is a bit like passing the buck.
ha. yeah rain here today...and will be grass cutting time soon...ReplyDelete
I love to garden in the stoems, but I also love to stome in puddles, to the chagrin of my children who don't like to get wet... beautiul photo!ReplyDelete
Gardening will be there after the rains, but Pheromone Girl is right, you don't always have puddles to stomp in. Thanks for playing along with the Sunday 160.ReplyDelete
I'll be glad to see even weeds at this point.ReplyDelete
Less time for gardening means more time for writing. Also, this reminded me of the Red Wheelbarrow by William Carlos Williams. I hope you take that as high praise.ReplyDelete
It rained here all day yesterday, but I woke to a winter wonderland again today. I have dreams of life renewing again in my garden some time soon though. Sweet dreams, dreams, dreams...ReplyDelete
Good luck with your weeds when the rain clears.
Oooohhh..refreshing rains!! :)) Umm..not when it's torrential though...ReplyDelete
Here, it was raining to perfection today :) Along with the weeds, I too did a happy dance :)

Weeds will always wait for you. :)

Between the rains and winds lately, you don't need boots -- you need a body suit!ReplyDelete
